A sad day has fallen upon us and the once mighty guild, IronArrows has come to an end. In its ashes a new guild has arisen, RedShift, led by Fluffyfoxxie and the remaining pool of IA members. Future applicants interested in joining will not be able to be admitted to IronArrows due to no Jrs remaining.

Ironarrows had a good run, almost 4 years of loyalty, dedication, and the most prominent single class guild in Bera, unfortunately, all good things must come to an end eventually.

RedShift is a guild with no such restrictions, however, in an attempt to keep it a tightly knit community, not all applicants will be accepted. FluffyFoxxie has stated that only those that he and his jr’s meet and get to know a little better will have the opportunity to join if they feel so inclined.

In the near future the forum will be experiencing some re-structuring to reflect upon the recent changes

I have also added a new graph to the enhanced stat screen drill down on both the top 100 and guild ranks. Click on the avatar of anyone in the ranks for a detailed breakdown of their levelling history over the last 5 months!

I am happy to announce that PreciseArrow have joined our alliance. PreciseArrow are a new bowman guild.

After ArrowStorm’s unfortunate demise, there was clearly room for a new bowman guild to form, and we are pleased to partner up with this fledgling guiild, and help them to become established. In time, I see no reason why it shouldnt become as successful as its predecessor.

Bowmen looking to join this guild should /find their leader, the enigmatically named 891925.

Less memorable, less pretty, but 100% functional

I have moved Bera’s Top 100 Marksmen listings to the new automated system. It pretty much looks after itself. The only thing i need to do is add new up and coming marksmen to the list it tracks occasionally.

The system knows about all lvl 100+ xbowmen already, who will appear if they level up enough. If someone doesn’t appear and you think they should be there, post their IGN on the forum thread and I’ll add them in. (Please note - some marksmen are not appearing because they are known hackers)

I have added a new Guild Members Roster. This should automatically update itself everytime it is viewed, giving the latest available stats on the members of the guild.

Its still in BETA at the moment. I need to improve the database management side of it, and will hopefully be adding more useful calculated stats to it soon. But it seems to be working well enough for now. Consequently, the guild ranks posted weekly in the forum will no longer be updated.

So check out the Guild Members Roster now, and find out how much you have to train to make the guild top 10!

The new ranking system uses code taken from MSsig, an open source project developed by Spaz. Credit to him for this excellent tool!

I have played around with the code from the sig gen to make a simplified rank viewer.  Its probably like dropping a Rolls Royce engine into a rusty old pickup, but it should make it very quick and easy check rank information!

The sig gen has proved so popular, our server thought it must be a virus and shut it down!

Once we finally worked out thats what had happened, we were able to get the service providor to unblock it again for us. Hey presto, its all back to normal! Yay!
